Barium Stearate

Barium Stearate PBAS 501 is a white and crystalline powder that is insoluble in water and ethanol. It is an excellent thermal stabilizer and lubricant for hard PVCs and plastics. When combined with zinc, cadmium, and lead stearate, it exhibits a very good stabilizing effect. Additionally, its waterproof and lubricating properties make it suitable for use in metalworking plastics, rubber, waxes, candle wax compounds, and various greases. Another application of Barium Stearate PBAS 501 is to enhance thermal and optical stability in plastics.
