Mineral pigments

(Item NO: )

Pigments are materials that alter the color of reflected or transmitted light by selectively absorbing specific wavelengths. They are used to color materials such as fabrics and paints. The main difference between pigments and dyes is their solubility; dyes dissolve easily in liquids, while pigments require a stabilizer to dissolve. Pigments are divided into two main categories: organic and inorganic. Organic pigments occur naturally and are used for less intense colors. They are produced through simple processes like washing and powdering. Inorganic pigments, formulated in laboratories, are used for vibrant colors and also include opaque white pigments to lighten other colors.   Hyrox pigments, such as reds 160, 180, 110F, 110M, and 101Y, are iron oxide variants used to create a wide range of red colors in various industries. These products are ideal for industrial environments due to their excellent covering power and high light stability. Hyrox black and orange pigments are also used for creating durable and unique surfaces.
