Processing Aid

Processing Aid

(Item NO: 530 - LP90 - LP40)

The main applications of processing aid are in the rubber and blending industries (chemical softeners) to modify the steps of the mixing process or to assist in a special way, during extrusion, clearing or molding. rubbers, especially natural or synthetic ones that have a high viscosity, require an initial breakdown of the chain during mixing; This is done to soften the rubber to increase adhesion after blending and better processability. in addition, controlling the rate and speed of chain breakage and helping to disperse other mixing materials are other applications of processing aid.  This process reduces shrinkage by reducing molecular mass and thus improves the preparation of the product by extrusion, calendaring and molding methods. It also improves the ability of PVC process by raising the melting point by decomposing PVC particles at a temperature lower than degradation and can be used in hard PVC formulations to improve the surface quality and process ability.
