Titanium Dioxide is the most important pigment used for those PVC particles and products that are used externally. In addition to painting PVC particles, it also enhances the UV protection effect, and since it may act as a catalyst and cause PVC to decay, it should have a surface coating to minimize this effect. Titanium Dioxide has the best performance comparing to other pigments. In addition to its whitening properties, this material also has a protective effect against UV. It is strongly recommended to use titanium dioxide in "Rutile" form with compounds of aluminum, Silicium and zirconium. These compounds include Al2O3, SiO2 and ZrO2. Two popular types of titanium dioxide which also this material found in various forms in nature, are "Anatase" and "Rutile". The titanium used in the production of door and window profiles must have special specifications. The only preferred grade for this industry is the "Rutile" type. This grade has different functional properties from "Anatase" grade, and since these two types of titans are very different in price, some manufacturers of door and window profiles use the "Anatase" type, assuming that both types have the same capability.Titanium Dioxide is one of the imported goods.
